In a sprawling urban metropolis, six kids try to bring some color and style to their drab city through graffiti, while trying to stay out of trouble along the way.
This is a 2D/3D Hybrid Film! It's also my senior capstone film, where I mainly worked on Visual Development, 2D/3D Environment and Layout, 2D Clean-Up Animation.
Directed by Joseph Jones

The cast of characters of the story of Tag Team follows. Created and designed by Joseph Jones, these characters have gone through many changes during production.
I made sure to learn and study how to draw and animate these characters in preparation for production.

A scene where DJ and Riley are on top of the train in pursuit to save their friend Coby. It is a nightime scene and using all these purples and yellows help make this scene feel alive and upbeat.

Tag Team is a hybrid film so there are shots set in a 3D environment. I was responsible for making sure the characters looked like they belong in this world. Giving it a cartoon feel! I handled modeling, textures, lighting, camera movement, and animation.

This was a test environment to see what the textures, shaders, and line art effects would look like in the 3D space with the characters included.

The Hideout is the Tag Team headquarters! This is where the group gathers and do their thing.
A warm contrast to the cools of the sewer where this place is located within it. It may be a little dirty and grungy, but it's home to our team and that’s how they like it!

I was also responsible for creating 2D Layouts for the film. I made sure to follow the aesthetic Tag Team has within the already created layouts to keep them consistent.
