I took a public domain story and did a genre twist to how it is usually depicted as in popular media. I went with The Wizard of Oz and turned the characters into Magical Girls!
Dorothy
She is the main protagonist in this story and is a student in Oz High School. She is a kind
but shy and timid girl who was given the power of the ruby crystal given by the Good Witch from another dimension in a desperate attempt to give their world its defense
against the Wicked Witch.
The power is activated whenever she taps her shoes and it gives her magical powers allowing her to fight any evil that comes her way.

Dorothy’s most trusted and loyal animal familiar. He is a small cairn terrier that follows and guides Dorothy though her journey. He loves belly rubs and treats and will be the one to cheer you up.

He is one of Dorothy’s best friends. He doesn’t have the best track record
when it comes to his grades in school but he knows just about everything when it comes to spells and tactics. He is the tactician of the group.

THe Lion
Another one of Dorothy’s friends, her best friend in fact! She is energetic, bubbly and she loves to joke around and pull pranks on her friends. But when it comes to serious situations she closes herself off. She is slowly but surely trying to fix that. She is the magical rogue of the group.

The TInman
The high school bad boy who we slowly find out really cares for his peers. On the exterior he may seem cold and crass, however in the inside he may have a heart of gold. Something that is unusual to him that he needs to get used to. He is the powerhouse in the group.

a stylish woman who knows her worth. She can manipulate people to get
